UK Statistics on Alcohol

House of Commons Briefing Paper on alcohol consumption in the UK has just been published (27th June 2016).  This shows that the decline in alcohol drinking between 2005 -2012 appears to have remained level. Men still continue to consume more alcohol than women in the UK.  The briefing also provides statistics for alcohol-related hospital admissions in England and Scotland. A useful document for those interested in this aspect of public health.
