National Occupational Standards (NoS) for Social Work

The National Occupational Standards (NoS) for Social Work were revised in 2011.  Here is an example of how you should reference this in your assignments:

In text (First cite):
Care Council for Wales (CCW, 2011)
or
(Care Council for Wales (CCW), 2011)

In text (Second and subsequent citations)
CCW (2011)
or
(CCW, 2011)

If you are referring to a specific section of the NoS you will need to include the section number, for example:

In text (First cite):
Care Council for Wales (CCW, 2011, SW17)
or
(Care Council for Wales (CCW), 2011, SW17)

In text (Second and subsequent citations)

CCW (2011, SW17)
or
(CCW, 2011, SW17)

In the reference list
Care Council for Wales. (2011). National occupational standards for social work. Cardiff: Care Council for Wales.

or

Care Council for Wales. (2011). National Occupational Standards for social work. Retrieved from http://www.ccwales.org.uk/qualifications-and-nos-finder/n/social-work/
